Zoom says it’s not going anywhere just yet

Video calling giant Zoom says it is looking at a shift in focus as it looks to evolve and move with the changing work environment.

The video conferencing company has revealed its latest quarterly results at the end of its FY 2022, showing another strong performance even as workers around the world return to the office, but its weaker outlook for the year ahead did raise some eyebrows.

Overall, Zoom saw Q4 FY2022 revenues of $ 1.07 billion, up 21% year on year, with total revenues for the whole of its FY2022 of just over $ 4 billion, up 55% year over year, with net income of $ 1.37 billion.

Zoom future

In order to stay successful going forward, Zoom says it is now looking to set its sights on larger, enterprise customers.

“In fiscal year 2022, we delivered strong results…along with increased profitability and operating cash flow growth as our global customer base continued to grow and find new use cases for our broadening communications platform,” said Zoom founder and CEO, Eric S. Yuan.

“Looking forward, we are addressing a large opportunity as we expect customers will continue to transform how they work and engage with their customers. It is apparent that businesses want a full communications platform that is integrated, secure, and easy to use. We are proud to lead the charge of the digital transformation for communications.”

After seeing a huge rate of growth during the pandemic, many have questioned how Zoom can stay relevant and profitable as the return to the office continues.

However the company has remained bullish, saying it can play an important role in the post-pandemic world through helping facilitate and encourage hybrid working as employees look to split their time between the office and a more comfortable home environment.

It has also been testing the waters in several new areas and industries, including the launch of Zoom Contact Center, a customer service platform that lets companies quickly interact with customers.

You can now put yourself front and centre (or anywhere you want) in Microsoft Teams

You'll soon be able to be the star of all your work video calls thanks to a new update coming to Microsoft Teams.

The video conferencing software has revealed plans for a new tweak that will let users pin their own video feed wherever they like on their display when on a call.

Previously, users could only pin video feeds of other participants when on a call, letting you focus on a particular presenter, boss or co-worker.

Pin on Microsoft Teams

The change will also mean that users can have their own video feed at whatever size they desire – a change which could be particularly useful if you want to check your appearance or background while presenting or speaking – especially if using sign language.

Microsoft says the new feature will also mean no more overlaying of the user's video window over that of other participants, and hopefully mean users will feel like they are taking a much more active role in a call.

Microsoft Teams pin video feed

The feature is set to begin rolling out to Microsoft Teams Standard users on Windows and Mac devices from January 2022. It can be activated by going to the “Me” box and clicking on the three dots, then selecting “Pin for me”, with users also able to pin or unpin their feeds when clicking on the menu next to their name in the roster.

The release is the latest in a series of upgrades to Microsoft Teams as the company looks to maintain its strong position in the video conferencing market.

This includes the ability to now mute or even turn off notifications while on a Teams call, with users able to choose to mute notifications for all meetings or on a per meeting basis.

Microsoft 365 users are also currently able to work uninterrupted with Teams notifications silenced thanks to focus mode in Viva Insights. The tool means Teams users will be able to make progress on important work with focus music from Headspace playing in the background.

How to watch Gangs of London: stream the gangland drama online anywhere

Up for a journey into the hidden heart of the UK capital? Then Sky's hard-hitting and record-breaking new crime drama is what you need in your life – read on to find out how to watch Gangs of London from anywhere in the world, including free streaming details for every episode.

This week, that means it's episode 5 airing on Sky – and it has been lauded by critics as the best in the series, so we know you won't want to miss it.

Created by The Raid director Gareth Evans and his cinematography partner Matt Flannery, this big-budget Sky/HBO Cinemax co-production is far from the straight-to-video fare we've come to expect from British gangster films.

The story takes off as crime lord Finn Wallace (Colm Meaney) is shot dead under mysterious circumstances, causing the network of alliances between London’s underworld to be be ruptured.

Amidst the turmoil, Wallace’s heir Sean sets out to avenge his father and mentor, whatever the cost. He's played by Joe Cole, who you may recognize from Peaky Blinders – despite the London-setting, it's not the former West Ham United footballer. Also on the cast is Michelle Fairley as Marian Wallace, and it's another stellar outing from the actress perhaps best known as Catelyn Stark in Game of Thrones.

Keep read as we explain how to watch Gangs on London online no matter where you are in the world – including the best free viewing options.

How to watch Gangs of London for FREE in the UK

How to watch Gangs of London from outside your country

As Gangs of London is a Sky Atlantic exclusive, anyone from the UK who's currently abroad won't find it being aired simultaneously in places like the USA, Canada or Australia. Moreover, trying to tune into Sky Atlantic like you would from home will likely be impossible because of geo-blocking restrictions.

We know that this might not be a likely scenario for many, due to coronavirus travel restrictions, but the fact is people are still being required to travel – and some are even regrettably stuck abroad during this difficult time.

Fortunately, there is a solution in the form of a VPN. This nifty bit of software changes your IP address so that you can access all the content you normally would at home, from anywhere in the world.

However, note that some services require you to verify local credit card or cable subscription details before gaining access, so make sure you have these to hand before signing up for anything.

India have a major boost, though, with the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya – a key trio that have each recovered from injuries that kept them out against New Zealand. Meanwhile, the South African batting line up is bolstered by the return of Faf du Plessis.

The last time these two teams met in an ODI series was back in 2018, with India thrashing South Africa 5-1, but it seems unlikely this series will be a similalyr one-sided affair.

The Coronavirus crisis has placed this series under threat, but with heavy rain expected throughout, the weather could prove a bigger danger to play being halted. Follow the instructions below to find out how to grab an India vs South Africa live stream from pretty much anywhere on Earth.

Mikey Garcia vs Jessie Vargas live stream: watch the boxing online anywhere

Few recent bouts have pitted two fighters with such a wealth of experience against each other – don't miss a moment of the action with our Mikey Garcia vs Jessie Vargas live stream guide. Watch all the boxing action from this weekend's big fight online the easy way.

Saturday's showdown in Texas marks the return to the ring of four-division world champion Garcia, who fights for the first time since his points defeat to Errol Spence Jr – which ended an impressive 39-fight winning streak.

Meanwhile, former WBA and IBO super lightweight champion Vargas comes into the fight off the back of a TKO win over Humberto Soto - a victory which ended a frustrating run of two draws in his previous fights.

The fight sees Vargas dropping down in weight. That could play into Garcia's hands, as Vargas boasts a considerable three-inch reach advantage over his opponent and, perhaps more significantly, is also a massive five-inches taller.

The big question remains how will Garcia respond to stinging defeat to Spence Jr which ended one of boxing's greatest ever winning streaks. There's loads at stake, too, with tonight's victor being tipped to a big-money showdown with Manny Pacquiao, one of the sport's all-time legends.

Read on to find out how you can watch the fight with our Mikey Garcia vs Jessie Vargas live stream guide.

England vs Ireland live stream: how to watch Six Nations 2020 rugby online from anywhere

Having returned to winning ways with a narrow victory against Scotland, England face what is likely to be their most difficult challenge of their 2020 Six Nations campaign so far – a visit from the Irish. To make sure you catch every minute of this unmissable game, be sure to follow our England vs Ireland live stream guide to watch it from wherever you are.

Ireland head to Twickenham on the back of two wins from two, their most recent being a battling win over tournament favourites Wales in Dublin. As well as maintaining their Grand Slam credentials, Andy Farrell's unbeaten side will also be looking to make amends for last season's 20-32 defeat to England at the Aviva Stadium – and smash the side lead by his son, Owen, in the process.

Eddie Jones’ side look set to be boosted by the availability of Manu Tuilagi and Henry Slade. The home side will, however, have to do without Anthony Watson thanks to a calf injury, while Mako Vunipola has had to pull out of the match for family reasons.

There's mixed news for Ireland on the injury front with Caelan Doris and Will Addison set to be available for selection, while Garry Ringrose remains sidelined with a hand injury.

It looks set to a tight affair at Twickenham and you can watch this Six Nations clash in its entirety – in some places for free – by following our England vs Ireland live stream guide below.
